Crowns, root canal treatment, extractions
Cracked teeth are increasingly prevalent in today’s society. They may be attributed to increased teeth grinding due to increased stress levels, accidentally biting on something too hard or biting at an awkward angle. Sharp pain and sudden hyper sensitivity of a specific tooth during biting or opening are signs of a cracked tooth. In severe cases, spontaneous throbbing pain may result. Depending on the extent of the crack, the affected tooth may require root canal treatment and/or crowning, or in severe cases, an extraction.
